This page is dedicated to all the little bits of living that get noticed but slip away so quickly.

A personal Smithsonian for the small moments that keep me grounded and motivated.

#8 Friday 12/19/25 – Neponset River Trail (again).

Yeah – riding home from work and I saw this funny scene of a group under the I93 Expressway going full fire pit social. This is in the city and certainly not allowed. Rounded the corner about 1/4 mile further to see a Boston Police SUV parked in the grass at John Paul Park undoubtedly to break up the party.

#7 Friday 12/5/25 Neponset River Trail – Dorchester, MA

Another picture of the sky. I had to cherish this one. The moon so bright I didn’t need my headlight for the last bit of the trail to Granite Ave.

#6 Thursday 11/27/25 – Thanksgiving
Merrymount in Quincy, MA

Took a break from Thanksgiving dinner and ran up the hill behind my sister’s house to capture this. Saw it from the kitchen and just had to go outside and breath it in ๐Ÿ™‚

#5 Friday 10/17/2025
Dedham St. Canton, MA

Walking to the train to get home from work. Catastrophic bike tire slaughter from road debris on the way in left me stranded. Feeling blue about it until I saw this family of deer just hanging out near the Neponset River. Lifted me right back up ๐Ÿ™‚

#4 Friday 9/26/25
Along the Neponsit River near Granite St. Dorchester, MA

Coming home from work on the bike. Most Fridays I’ll extend the commute home further down the Neponsit River Trail to capture this scene at dusk. It’s the start of the w/e. No rush or worries to get home quick. Today gave me a longer pause with the Fall sun setting sooner. It was 68 deg. and windless. A near perfect present moment ๐Ÿ™‚

#3 Sunday 9/21/25
My condo balcony – Dorchester, MA

This is my every Sunday morning ritual. Using my outdoor space for a handful of quiet beats. No phone, No TV. Just sit and observe the gardens my neighbors keep at the edges, Planes following their approach path to Logan Airport, the dozen mature trees in view about to color up in October then shed their leaves.

Stressless, mind wandering calm gives way to gratitude for my time here ๐Ÿ™‚

#2 Monday 9/15/25

Milton Acadamy athletic fields. Biking by on my ride into work.

Not a great pic, but low fog framed by the early Fall sunrise gave a little boost to my bluesy Monday mood.

#1 Monday 9/1/25 – Labor Day

Hancock Hill @ Blue Hills Reservation Milton, MA

This is a dedicated and curated moment. I come here for the glory of dawn breaking into sunrise. Talk about mental healing – All the goodness bubbles up every time…Grateful, humility, joy, awe, inspired, Glass 1/2 full ๐Ÿ™‚
